We use so many things to keep our lives clean and beautiful. Often we don’t think about cleaning the things we use to maintain our personal care items. Everything from shower loofahs to nail clippers need to be freshened up! Here’s a little list of a few things we use in our everyday lives and how to clean them in gentle all natural ways.
Loofah (synthetic or sea sponge): Use a bowl of water and a tbsp of plain white vinegar. Soak and rinse.
Hair brush: Pull out all the hair and then combine tea tree oil, or a couple drops of dish detergent. Soak and let dry.
Toothbrush: Water and a tsp of baking soda. Mix, soak, and then let air dry. Though you do want to just simply replace if you have been sick or if it’s been 3 mths.
Nail clippers: Water and a bit of hydrogen peroxide, or a tsp of baking soda. Simply dip and then wipe dry.
Make-up brushes: Hot water and a tbls of white vinegar, soak for 20 minutes. Then do a hot water followed by a cold water rinse, then pat dry.
